Dave Stenberg
15 years of service for the Foundation board.
Dave grew up on a farm in Wausa in northeast Nebraska. Between attaining his BS and MS degrees from UNL in Animal Science, he spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania, East Africa. Upon college graduation, Dave was a UNL Extension Educator in Dawson County until his retirement after 40-plus years. He serves on several other boards of directors, including Dawson Area Development, Nebraska Community Forestry Council, and Agriculture Builders of Nebraska, and is the curator of the Stenberg Arboretum at the Dawson County Fairgrounds. Dave and his wife, Peggy, have two adult sons.
