During unprecedented times, the Lexington Community Foundation seeks to unite resources and provide a common place for supporters to donate to the challenges facing the Lexington community.

As of June 1, 2026:
- Total Donations: 234
- Total Funds Contributed: $755,749
- Total Funds Disbursed to Date: $627,120
  - May 2026: $182,000 granted to five local organizations directly supporting relief efforts

The Lexington Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests submitted for the continued use of Community Relief Funds by area human service organizations supporting ongoing individual and household relief.

Updates will be shared in the near future regarding funding awarded to area organizations.

While donations continue to be accepted to the Lexington Community Relief Fund, the Lexington Community Foundation encourages donations to area human service organizations that assist individuals directly.

The Lexington Community Foundation will continue to use Community Relief Funds through grant awards and to build community sustainability.
