Mike Jeffrey
1st year of service on the LCF Board
Mike was born and raised on a farm and ranch southeast of Lexington. He graduated from St. Ann’s High School in 1966, and then spent six years in the United States Navy. He returned to the Lexington area to work with his father and cousins on their cow/calf feedlot and farming operations, which his great-grandfather homesteaded in 1872.
Mike was also the sexton of Robb Memorial for 20 years. He moved into Lexington two years ago after selling his farm home. He discovered what a valuable asset LCF was while setting up a capital campaign to raise funds for the Rob Memorial restoration project. “I’m so happy to be able to give back some time and effort to all the wonderful things that the Foundation is involved with.”
