Lexington Community Foundation’s Annual Key Dinner & Auction Raises $486,500
Celebrating a Monumental 25 Years of Giving
Lexington, Nebraska (April 2026) — The Lexington Community Foundation proudly marked a milestone this year by hosting its 25th annual Key Dinner & Auction, with a special silver-anniversary celebration honoring the event’s legacy and lasting community impact.
The event brought together supporters, partners, and community members for an evening that reflected on 25 years of generosity and progress. Through storytelling, shared memories, and a look back at the organization’s history, attendees celebrated the meaningful difference the fundraiser has made over the years. This year’s event raised an outstanding $486,500, pushing the total raised over the past 25 years to more than $4.6 million.
Bidders—both in the room and online—competed for luxury getaways, one-of-a-kind experiences, and curated packages, all in support of the Lexington Community Foundation’s mission to inspire generosity and strengthen the community, creating a community where all individuals thrive.
Thanks to the community’s continued support, LCF celebrates not just one successful night, but a tradition of impact built over a quarter-century.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this event over the past 25 years,” said Barry McFarland, LCF Public Relations Chairman. “This milestone is a testament to the power of community and the lasting impact we can achieve together.”
A special thank you to the guests, the Board of Directors and their spouses, the local media, and the countless volunteers and businesses that make this event a success each year.
