Welcome
The Lexington Community Foundation is one of over 700 community foundations in the United States. Our purpose is to promote community philanthropy by working with individuals, families and organizations to develop tailored giving plans that effectively meet the charitable goals and financial circumstances of each individual donor. Plans may include establishing a fund to accomplish one or more of the following:
- Benefiting specific charities
- Supporting a specific interest area such as the arts, environment, the homeless or hungry, animal welfare, etc.
- Establishing a scholarship
- Supporting the ever-changing needs of the Lexington community
We can assist individuals with their giving plans during their lifetime and through their estate plans. In short, we help people maximize the impact of their giving to create a better community.
