The Lexington Community Foundation exists to encourage and strengthen philanthropy in order to provide a permanent source of funding for opportunities to improve the quality of life, strengthen the sense of community, benefit future generations in Lexington, Nebraska.

Backpacks for Kids:

The Backpacks for Kids program discreetly provides nutritious food to chronically hungry students.

Central Community College Foundation – Lex Center:

Our goal is to assist students through scholarships & programs for CCC at the Lex Center through GBL donations.

Central Nebraska Human Trafficking & Immigration Outreach:

Increase public awareness of human trafficking & it’s impact on our community, through education, research, training & community outreach.

CFI.Lexington:

CFI is a community-based approach to improving the health and well-being of Lexington area citizens.

Class of ‘77 Scholarship Fund:

The Lexington High School Class of 1977 has established a scholarship in memory of our classmates who have passed away.

Club 180:

An after school place for Lexington youth to gather with friends.

Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska:

Your support will help Lexington’s Food Pantry to feed the hungry in the area.

Daughters of the American Revolution Bonneville Chapter:

This non-profit, non-political organization has a simple mission to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism.

Dawson County 4-H:

Dawson County 4-H – making the best better!

Dawson County Ag Society:

Support the Dawson County Fairgrounds and its annual events.

Dawson County Children’s Museum:

Dream BIG, Give BIG, so we can establish a children’s museum for “our” children in central Nebraska.

Dawson County Hero Flight:

Organized for the sole purpose of honoring our veterans by flying them to Washington D.C. and enabling them to visit THEIR memorials.

Dawson County Historical Society and Museum:

This museum is a nonprofit, cultural heritage learning center with a strong mission to preserve and protect Dawson County’s history.

Dawson County K-9 Unit:

Providing quality, timely canine search and rescue in Dawson County.

Dawson County Parent Child Protective Services:

Help us to make much-needed updates to our emergency shelter for women and children.

Dawson/Gosper County CASA:

Our goal is that every child has a safe & loving home. If you can, continue reading & learn how your gift can help CASA be successful.

Dawson/Gosper County Crime Stoppers:

Help Crime Stoppers provide a method for local law enforcement to receive information on crimes.

Downtown Holiday Decoration Fund:

Heartland Military Museum of Vehicles:

This Museum is a memorial “from the people to the people”, it is run by volunteers & funded by donations and grants.

Johnson Lake Carp Removal Fund:

Your support will help to restore a desirable fish community at Johnson Lake by removing carp and rehabilitating the sport fishery.

Johnson Lake EMS:

Feel safe and reassured knowing that Johnson Lake EMS is standing by, ready to assist you day or night….

Johnson Lake Fireworks:

Help support the “Light Up the Lake Fireworks Show” held every year in celebration of the 4th of July!

Johnson Lake State Recreation Area:

Lexington Public School – Field Turf Fund:

Installation of Field Turf would provide a safe, durable surface that could be used by multiple activities, every day of the week, at any time of the day, all year long, with no danger of damaging the field, or causing more work for our maintenance department.

Lexington Red Cross/Blood Mobile:

Lexington Blood Drive is one of the lifesaving missions of the American Red Cross that serves our local hospital & other Midwest hospitals.

Lexington Regional Health Center Charitable Fund:

Your support will aide in our commitment to high quality healthcare for rural Nebraska.

Encourages projects related to large animal agriculture & rewards participants for their time & expenses dedicated to the livestock.

With the support of the volunteers and your generosity, Meals on Wheels can continue to provide healthy meals to those in need.

Micahs House:

Provide a safe environment with services for those families & individuals experiencing homelessness.

Minuteman Fine Arts Association:

MFAA is committed to supporting the Fine Arts programs at Lexington High School and promoting excellence in this area.

Operation Santa Claus:

Show your spirit through a wonderful, nondenominational program that collects, wraps & distributes items to struggling families in the area.

Orthman Community YMCA:

Paw Prints of Dawson County:

Royal Family KIDS Camp:

Royal Family KIDS’ mission: create life-changing moments for children of abuse. We provide a week-long summer camp to foster kids ages 6-12.

Somali Community Center of Lexington Nebraska:

Strives to increase community awareness pertaining to the differences in culture & promote a smooth transition into American culture.

St. Mary’s Immigration Office at St. Ann’s:

We serve immigrants of all faiths and nationalities who seek family reunification, citizenship, and protection from persecution & violence.

TeamMates of Lexington:

Your support can help us to positively impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.

The Christmas Project:

Help us acquire festive lighting, a Nativity and secular displays to be on the Dawson County Court House grounds for the holiday season.

VFW Auxiliary:

Serving the veterans of our country & communities in honor of the sacrifices & commitment of every man & woman who has served in uniform.
